About Maja
I am a graduate in Bachelor in Secondary Education - Major in English from the largest private university in Mindanao - University of Mindanao - Tagum College.
Throughout my four years of specializing as English major in this institution, I have developed a strong foundation, not just in teaching English as a subject but also in linguistics, English applied in communication, writing, and also the skills to help learners achieve their goal in learning with confidence, be it may as English as Second Language (ESL) or English as Foreign Language (EFL) - or even basic ones.
I also have an experience as an international teacher in Indonesia last October 2025 as part of my internship. The SEA-Teacher program of Southeast Asia Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) made me gain an experience in teaching students English in foreign setting.
This experience strengthened my ability to adapt in foreign settings, chunk down my lessons in bite-size pieces, and assist my students in an easy-to-understand manner while adapting to their individual needs and proficiency level.
My goal is to help my student angels - in all ages to strengthen their English skills, whether you want is to practice basic English for your toddlers and growing children, improve your grammar and pronunciation, or improve your English skills for communicative purposes, or just want to chat.
I personalize my lessons based on my angels' needs in order for you to make a measurable and tangible progress. A space where we can interact, make mistakes, and build confidence in speaking English like a natural in real-life context.
I can send a compiled portfolio for legibility purposes if interested.

Materials are provided after initial meeting with the client to ensure the class are practical, enjoyable, and relevant for the students.
