About Airamae
What truly sets me apart is the rare combination of formal pedagogical training and frontline ESL experience. Unlike teachers who focus only on academic standards or those who focus only on casual conversation, I bring both perspectives together: I understand how English is taught in formal education, and I know exactly what challenges non-native speakers face when using it in daily life. I do not just teach students about English—I teach them how to live with it, use it to express themselves, and let it take them where they want to go. My teaching approach is shaped by the belief that every student learns in their own way, and that language is best mastered when it feels meaningful rather than intimidating. I balance strong foundational instruction in grammar, pronunciation, and writing with practical, real-world practice: lessons are always tailored to match a learner’s goals, whether these are to excel in school, prepare for exams, advance in a career, or simply converse comfortably with others. I strive to create a warm, low-pressure space where mistakes are seen not as failures, but as essential steps in the learning process. When students feel safe to try, they feel empowered to improve.
