About Pau

Hi, I’m Pau! I’m passionate about helping students feel more confident when using English and Filipino. With my background in school publication and journalism, I have experience in writing, editing, communication, and working with different types of content.

As a tutor, I want my students to feel comfortable learning and asking questions. I understand that everyone has a different pace, so I try to make my lessons clear, practical, and suited to each student’s needs. Whether you want to improve your vocabulary, speaking, listening, or writing, I’ll guide you step by step and help you build your confidence.

I’m patient, approachable, and committed to making each lesson productive and enjoyable. My goal is not only to help you improve your English, but also to make you feel more comfortable using it in everyday conversations and academic settings.

About the lesson

I like to keep my lessons simple, comfortable, and easy to understand. I focus on vocabulary, speaking, listening, and writing, and I adjust my lessons based on the student’s level and what they want to improve. I use conversations, short activities, examples, and everyday situations so students can practice both English and Filipino in a more natural way.

For a typical lesson, we can start with a quick review or conversation, then work on a specific skill or topic. We’ll practice together through speaking exercises, reading or listening activities, and short writing tasks. I also give feedback along the way so students know what they are doing well and what they can improve.

What makes me different is my experience in school publication and journalism. Through writing and editing, I developed my communication, vocabulary, and writing skills, and I enjoy sharing what I’ve learned with others. I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes because that’s part of learning.

My lessons are for beginners, intermediate learners, students, and anyone who wants to become more confident in using both language. Whether you want to improve your everyday conversation, vocabulary, listening, or writing, I’ll do my best to make each lesson useful and enjoyable.
