About Taylor
My teaching journey has helped me understand that every guitarist has a different reason for learning. Some students want to perform, some want a creative hobby, and others simply want to enjoy playing their favorite songs.
I have a Music Degree and 9 years of teaching experience with beginners and adult students. These experiences have taught me how important patience and encouragement are when helping students improve.
I enjoy celebrating every step of progress, whether it's learning a first chord, completing a song, or developing a personal style. Seeing students enjoy their musical growth is what makes teaching guitar special.

In my guitar lessons, I focus on helping students enjoy the instrument while learning skills they can use in real music. Each class is planned around your level, interests, and goals, making the learning process simple and enjoyable.
We'll work on chords, strumming patterns, rhythm guitar, fingerstyle playing, picking techniques, lead guitar skills, improvisation, songwriting basics, and music theory. We can spend time learning your favourite songs, improving tricky sections, or exploring different styles of playing.
I'll share easy practice ideas, regular feedback, and clear goals to help you improve between lessons. As your skills grow, you'll feel more confident playing guitar and creating music in your own way.
