About Alexander
With 6 years of tutoring experience, I teach computer programming to students from school to college. I have helped nearly 200 students improve their academic performance and confidence in programming. My teaching philosophy is based on simplicity, practice, and encouragement. My approach to teaching computer programming is organized, flexible, and results-oriented. I begin by evaluating the student’s current knowledge and adapt lessons to meet their academic or career needs. Programming concepts are taught through simple explanations and hands-on coding.
In Java, I cover OOP principles, data structures, collections, exception handling, multithreading, database connectivity, and basic framework concepts. I also teach SQL and C to support logical thinking and coding efficiency. Students practice through exercises, assignments, and projects.
I maintain a positive and respectful learning environment. I apply diplomacy when challenges arise and promote accountability through regular feedback and assessments. My aim is exam success, strong assignments, and job-ready skills.
