About Samantha
My teaching experience has helped me understand that every student learns in a different way. During the past 11 years, I've taught teenagers and adult students with different goals, experience, and musical interests.
I enjoy seeing students become more confident as they improve week by week. Those small achievements, like playing a full piece smoothly for the first time, remind me why I enjoy teaching so much.
My aim is to make every lesson welcoming, encouraging, and enjoyable. I want students to feel comfortable learning at their own pace while building skills they can continue using long after our lessons together.

My violin lessons help students build strong basics while enjoying the learning process. Classes are planned at a comfortable pace, giving you enough time to understand each technique before moving on to something new.
We'll practise posture, bow hold, finger placement, rhythm, intonation, vibrato, ear training, shifting, tone production, sight reading, music theory, and performance skills. If a section feels difficult, we'll break it into smaller parts and work through it together until it feels comfortable.
I'll provide simple practice plans, helpful feedback, and regular progress reviews after every lesson. As your confidence grows, you'll notice smoother playing, a better sound, and more enjoyment every time you pick up your violin.
