About Emily
I hold a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance. This is my area of deepest expertise, and I have been coaching singers for 5 years. During my university career, I performed lead roles in several operas and was the recipient of the "Outstanding Undergraduate Vocalist" scholarship. My education has given me a sophisticated understanding of the voice as an instrument, and I am passionate about sharing that knowledge with students of all ages.

As a trained vocalist, I offer lessons that are grounded in healthy, effective, and sustainable vocal technique. We will work on the core elements of singing: consistent breath support, creating a resonant tone, improving pitch accuracy, and increasing your vocal range. My formal training also allows me to help you with music theory, ear training, and sight-singing. Whether you love pop, musical theater, or classical music, I will help you develop the skills and the confidence to become a compelling performer.
