About Shannon
I'm Shannon Jordan — a certified Ontario teacher (OCT), an educator at the Peel District School Board (PDSB), and the founder and head teacher of Inspire Tutoring & Education.
Teaching has always been my calling. There is nothing more rewarding than watching a child go from struggling and frustrated to confident and excited about learning. That transformation — that moment when it all clicks — is why I do what I do every single day.
I founded Inspire Tutoring & Education because I wanted to create a space where every child feels seen, supported, and celebrated. A place where learning is joyful, where small groups mean big attention, and where every student walks away feeling like they can do it.
With 16 years of academic tutoring experience, I have had the privilege of supporting hundreds of students on their learning journeys.
When the pandemic arrived in 2020 and students could no longer attend school in person, I transitioned to online tutoring so that no child had to fall behind. Parents were relieved to know their child's learning was in good hands — and that support never stopped. I continue to offer online tutoring today, helping students thrive from the comfort of their own home.
