About Ray
Hello! My name is Canberra, and I’m a singing tutor with over 4 years of experience and an Associate of Music in Contemporary Vocal Techniques. I specialize in teaching children and early teens using creative, playful methods that inspire curiosity and confidence. My lessons blend games, movement, and storytelling to make learning rhythm, pitch, and vocal basics fun and memorable. I love using folk songs, Disney favorites, and musical theater numbers that let young singers express themselves freely. Together, we explore stage presence and storytelling so students can perform with excitement and ease. My goal is to help every child feel capable and proud of their sound. We focus on listening, breathing, and communication through music. I believe every lesson should spark joy and confidence. Singing is a journey of discovery, and I’m here to make it safe, inspiring, and full of fun for every young performer.

I teach singers to develop precise pitch and a strong musical ear. Lessons include interval training, ear exercises, and harmonizing practice. Students learn to identify notes and sing them accurately. I work with advanced teens and quartet singers, giving detailed feedback to refine harmonies. You’ll practice scales, sight-singing, and listening exercises that improve accuracy. My method trains the ear to sing confidently and match pitches effortlessly. Lessons are fun, practical, and designed to build long-term skills. You’ll gain musical awareness, vocal control, and blending ability. I emphasize consistent feedback to make growth measurable. Singing becomes easier, more confident, and expressive. My approach balances technical exercises with enjoyable practice. You’ll learn to perform in tune with comfort and precision. Every student develops both skill and confidence in their voice. Singing becomes a natural, joyful experience.
