About Ausar Alexander
I am a business admin student at Coe College, I run track, and I'm a RA. I have countless experiences working with students and serving in leadership roles on campus. I transfer these skills to my tutoring sessions and deliver the best lessons possible to my students. I didn't go into tutoring for the money, I went into this field because I saw a need for creating value for our kids and helping them excel. They are our future after all. The most rewarding thing when I tutor my students is when they give you a great big smile because they truly understand. This feels me with joy because I know I finally helped them reach the understanding they always had, I just came to bring it out.

When I teach lessons I first start off by getting to know my audience which is the students' in this case. I usually do a good deal of listening and once I learn enough about them, I can design a plan. Once this plan is made, a typical math or reading lesson is tailored toward students' immediate needs. I never make a lesson plan until I learn what a student is struggling with first. What sets me apart from other tutors is my patience, flexibility, and genuine love for teaching students. My lessons are generally geared towards k-9th graders.
