About Vivienne
I’m an experienced language professional and qualified teacher, specialising in Business French for professionals working in international environments. I support clients who already have a foundation in French but want to communicate with greater clarity, confidence and professionalism at work.
My background includes formal training in languages and education, along with many years’ experience working with adult learners and professionals. I understand the linguistic and cultural nuances that matter in professional French — not just grammar, but tone, register and how things land in real workplace situations.
I work particularly well with professionals who are capable but feel hesitant or self-conscious when speaking French, especially in meetings or high-stakes conversations. My approach is calm, structured and respectful, helping clients organise what they already know and use it more effectively.
I’m patient, clear in my explanations, and focused on practical outcomes. Lessons feel purposeful and supportive, with steady progress and no unnecessary pressure.

My Business French lessons are designed for professionals who already use French at work but want to communicate more clearly, confidently and naturally. I work with clients who don’t need “school French”, but practical support for real workplace situations.
Lessons focus on the language you actually need: meetings, emails, presentations, calls and professional small talk. We work on accuracy, tone and clarity, so you can express yourself without sounding abrupt, hesitant or over-formal.
My approach is calm, structured and supportive. I explain grammar and usage clearly, always in context, and help you understand why something works — not just what to memorise. Confidence is a key part of my work, particularly for professionals who feel capable but second-guess themselves when speaking.
