About Shehan
Hi! I’m Shehan, a friendly and approachable English tutor passionate about helping students become more confident communicators.
I have completed a Bachelor of Business in Australia and am currently studying a Master of Marketing at the University of Wollongong. Through my studies, I have developed strong skills in academic writing, presentations, research, and professional communication.
I also have professional experience in customer service, leadership, and marketing, where clear and effective communication is an important part of my everyday work.
My tutoring approach is relaxed, supportive and personalized. I understand that every student learns differently, so I aim to create an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, practicing their English and learning from mistakes.
Whether you want to improve your speaking, writing, grammar, academic communication or everyday English, I will tailor lessons to your individual goals and learning level.
My lessons are suitable for students of different ages and abilities who want to improve their English skills and, most importantly, build confidence in communicating.

My lessons focus on making English practical, comfortable and easy to understand. I use a personalized approach based on each student's goals, whether they want to improve their speaking, writing, grammar, pronunciation, or everyday communication.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes and include a combination of conversation practice, vocabulary building, grammar, reading and practical exercises. I particularly focus on helping students become more confident using English in real-life situations, study and the workplace.
I have completed a Bachelor of Business in Australia and am currently completing my Master's degree, giving me strong experience in academic writing, presentations and professional communication. I also have professional experience working in customer service, business and team environments in Australia.
My lessons are suitable for beginners, international students, young adults and adults who want to improve their everyday, academic or professional English in a friendly and supportive environment.
