About Santana
My name is Santana I have been tutoring both in the UK and abroad over the past 7 years.
I’m not your typical Business tutor! I speak English, Spanish and Portuguese fluently.
I am a full-time private tutor with over 8,000 hours of experience and a Business Management graduate, 2:1. Throughout university, I was an Undergraduate Scholar of The Institution of Brunel University.
My main subjects are Business Management, Marketing, International Business, Mathematics and Portuguese. Furthermore I have also taught Portuguese-speaking students those who have difficulties speaking English.
I will bring out the confidence and character out of students, by keeping the tutorials fun and light-hearted yet making sure objectives are met and students still learn.
- I insist in confidence and a “can do” attitude in students, regularly reminding them that nothing is difficult if you have been shown how to do it properly.
- I listen to students; this keeps lessons interactive and ensures I have constant updates on their thought process and current understanding.
Moreover, I have experience supporting successful applications to Russell Group universities for various courses.
It is my faith that the most significant quality a tutor must acquire is an appreciation of the individual requirements, needs and capacities of each of their students. Additionally, I guarantee that I identify and develop the natural learning style of each of my pupils, enabling them to accomplish their full intellectual potential. This is sustained by regular setting of homework and notes on exam strategy.
I will happily tailor tuition sessions to meet the needs of clients; by consulting with you, we can work out a plan to improve your:
- exam skills
- grammar, spelling and punctuation
- academic writing
- formal writing, such as C.V.s and cover letters
- essay writing
I know how important it is for clients to see proof of qualifications, so I'm more than happy to supply copies of these to you, I am also fully DBS checked.
My hourly rate begins at £25 for one-to-one, face-to-face tuition, with discounts offered for small group sessions and Skype lessons. I am happy to discuss what I can offer further with you over the phone or by email, so please feel free to get in touch with me!
