About Alexandra
Ciao! My name is Alexandra, and I am Italian and English! Having studied IGCSE Italian and IB Italian B HL, I understand the challenges of learning a new language and how to overcome them. I started tutoring by helping my peers with Italian AB Initio and later worked with younger students, which made me realise how much I enjoy guiding others in their language-learning journey. I want to teach because I know how intimidating it can be to learn a foreign language, and I believe that with the right support, anyone can gain confidence and fluency. My goal is to make Italian fun, engaging, and accessible for all learners, whether you're a beginner, preparing for IGCSE or IB exams, or simply looking to improve your skills. I look forward to helping you discover the beauty of the Italian language and culture!

I tailor my Italian lessons to each student’s needs, focusing on building a strong foundation in grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation while emphasising real-life communication. My teaching methodology combines structured lessons with interactive activities such as role-playing, listening exercises, and conversation practice to ensure engagement and retention. Lessons typically last one hour, though I can adjust based on student preferences and learning goals. I am Italian and I have IGCSE Italian and IB Italian B HL qualifications, I understand the challenges of learning the language at different levels. I also achieved a 39/45 in the IB. I have experience tutoring peers in Italian AB Initio as well as younger children, allowing me to adapt my approach to different age groups and abilities. I offer lessons for beginners, IGCSE Foreign Language students, IB Italian B HL/SL, and Italian AB Initio learners in London or online. Whether you're preparing for exams or simply want to learn Italian for personal growth, I will provide structured, supportive, and engaging lessons to help you succeed.
