About Quillan
Hi, I’m Quillan, a 22-year-old qualified teacher who has recently completed my PGCE. I am passionate about education and committed to helping students build confidence, improve their understanding, and achieve their goals.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy sports and movies, which helps me bring an energetic, approachable, and relatable style to my lessons.
One of my strengths as a tutor is that it hasn’t been long since I was in school myself. Because of this, I understand the pressures students face — from exams and coursework to motivation and confidence challenges. This allows me to connect well with learners and explain concepts in clear, practical, and engaging ways that students can genuinely relate to.
Recently qualifying through my PGCE means I bring up-to-date teaching knowledge, professional training, and effective classroom strategies into my tutoring. My lessons are tailored to each student’s learning style, focusing not only on improving grades and subject knowledge, but also on developing confidence, independent thinking, and long-term success.
My goal is to create a positive, supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making progress, and reaching their full potential. Whether you need help with exam preparation, strengthening key skills, or building confidence in a subject, I am here to help you succeed.

My teaching approach focuses on clarity, confidence, and adapting lessons to each student’s individual learning style. I believe students learn best when concepts are explained clearly, supported with practical examples, guided practice, and structured feedback.
My lessons are interactive and goal-oriented, designed to build understanding rather than memorisation. Depending on the subject and student level, I use worked examples, problem-solving exercises, discussion, and step-by-step explanations to help students master key concepts and improve confidence.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, although sessions can be adjusted depending on the student's goals and learning needs.
I am Quillan, and I bring a strong academic background, enthusiasm for teaching, and a patient, supportive teaching style. My aim is not only to help students improve grades or technical ability, but also to help them become more independent and confident learners.
My lessons are suitable for beginners through to more advanced learners, depending on the subject, including school students, university students, and adult learners looking to develop new skills or strengthen existing knowledge.
