About Kendra
Calculus was not always intuitive for me during my early studies. After teaching 427 students over 3 years, I admit that even minor gaps in algebra make higher math feel like a chore.
My work currently focuses on integration by parts, Taylor series, and differential equations basics. Dealing with implicit differentiation and related rates demands a high level of patience. When students master definite integrals and complex problem-solving strategies, it becomes clear that technical rigor is the only way forward. It is just the way things are.

How does a typical hour feel when you are staring down a wall of complex integrals? When we tackle these problems, my role is to act as a technical guide who draws upon 3 years of teaching experience and my Master of Science in Mathematics from Carnegie Mellon University. By using consistent strategies for integration techniques, we turn overwhelming concepts into routine operations that you can solve with total confidence. I emphasize logical flow so that each step of the calculation follows naturally from the previous one, ensuring that your understanding of the underlying theory is robust.
This creates a systematic rhythm where implicit differentiation or related rates become tasks you navigate with ease. I genuinely enjoy watching students move from confusion to the calm satisfaction of a perfectly solved page of calculus.
