About Anita

Standing before a whiteboard, I see the immediate panic when students confront a messy Taylor series problem. My career began 4 years ago with the realization that most people fail because they lack a solid foundation in basic curve sketching.

I hold a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from MIT, which allows me to strip away the noise and focus on the core mechanics. My 116 students usually arrive stressed, but they leave feeling capable. I find it enjoyable to watch a learner finally visualize area and volume in 3 dimensions. Solving optimization problems and complex integrals is actually a rewarding, logical puzzle when you possess the right tools.

Calculus usually falls apart when a student hits a wall on a single, tricky optimization problem. I frequently see people get stuck on the chain rule because they try to memorize steps rather than identifying the underlying pattern. Drawing on 4 years of experience, I provide clear exam technique breakdowns per topic to ensure you navigate sequences and series with total confidence. Focus is key.

My sessions prioritize precision. We move through derivatives and integral calculus by isolating the exact point of confusion. You will gain a reliable, repeatable method for attacking difficult exam questions.
