About Temika
As a dedicated third-grade teacher, I am passionate about fostering a love for learning and empowering young minds to think critically and creatively. With a background in education and leadership, I bring a unique blend of teaching expertise and organizational skills to the classroom. Currently, I am pursuing my Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of North Texas at Dallas, where I am expanding my knowledge of innovative teaching strategies and literacy development. My teaching philosophy is rooted in creating engaging, differentiated instruction that meets the diverse needs of my students, including emergent bilingual learners. Beyond the classroom, I am working toward earning my intern certificate, completing observation hours, and preparing for my SPED EC-12 certification exams to broaden my impact as an educator.
