About Christopher
Cambridge- and Harvard-educated Latin, Greek and college admissions tutor with almost a decade of tutoring experience. Every student is different, and I tailor my teaching to the needs of each individual, giving them the support and encouragement they need to achieve their own ambitions. Previous students of mine have won places and scholarships at highly selective private schools including Westminster and St Paul’s and top universities including Cambridge and Oxford.
I graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge with a Double-First in Classics, followed by an M.Phil degree (Distinction). I was subsequently awarded the 2015/16 Choate Fellowship to Harvard University. Outside tutoring, I work as an investment analyst in Edinburgh, Scotland.
I believe that the most important thing a tutor can do is ignite a genuine enthusiasm for their subject that will help them to develop into independent learners capable of flourishing on their own.
I have a full enhanced DBS certificate and conduct the majority of my lessons online. I look forward to being your or your child's tutor!
