About Hermine

With nearly seven years of experience, I am a seasoned tutor. Over the years, I have supported students of all ages and levels with their French. This can take the form of essay writing support, improving spoken and written skills, literature classes, language test prep, literary analysis, and many other things! Each student has allowed me to perfect my teaching skills: learning is a two way street; the boundaries between learner and teacher are porous. If you learn, I learn!

About the lesson

My approach to teaching relies on a deep love for my native languages, and a passion for teaching them. I care deeply about improving confidence levels in my learners. I take care of tailoring lessons to each students, and to introduce them to materials close to their personal interests. I have a lot of experience with children which has taught me the importance of adapting to each student and persevering. I take an interest in ludic methods: they seem a great way to learn to play and play to learn!
