About Desirê

I have taught English for children and adults and I adapt easily to the needs and goals of each audience and each individual, because I communicate well with everyone. I learned English using the Cambridge method and I try to use it, but I am very flexible about the model and the lesson plan and also about the place and time of your service.

About the lesson

I'm from Curitiba, but I've lived in Brasilia for a non-consecutive year and a half, and in Niterói, for a year, where I did two semesters of the Cinema and Audiovisual course at Universidade Federal Fluminense. However, in 2018, I decided to attend the Artes Cênicas course at UnB, here in our capital, a goal that will be solidified in 2019, and I intend to divide my time between academic responsibilities and continue my experience of teaching English, for which I have much appreciation since I began to learn it at the age of 8 at the "semi-bilingual", at the time, elementary school Bom Jesus Aldeia, which is bilingual tiday, where I've once had 7 English classes per week and from which I graduated, in the ninth year, in 2013, with an advanced level of English, since my reading and listening and speaking and writing were fuent, also having obtained all the Young Learners English Tests from the University of Cambridge since the age of 10. In 2014 and 2015, in the first years of high school, I got the 3 remaining certificates from Cambridge, FCE, CAE (the two in the first year of high school, getting an A in both exams and acquiring a C2 level of English, the highest in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, in the Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) exam) and CPE (in the second year of high school, getting a B grade, also corresponding to the C2 level of the CEFR, and proficiency in the English language at the age of 16), when I took the preparatory courses for the CAE and CPE tests, at Cultura Inglesa in Curitiba and in Brasilia, respectively. Since then, I have lived with English as a second language and have always perfected myself in it and I try to understand more its dialects and accents and pronunciations and all the artistic culture (literary, theatrical, audiovisual, musical ...) that surrounds it. I studied 1 year of German at Bom Jesus Lourdes in 2014 and did a semester of Greek as an elective disciple at UFF in 2017. My passion for human culture, especially linguistics, knows no limits and I always want to search and understand the origins and ways of living and relating in different societies. I intend to take a foreign language course in 2019, once I establish myself academically and professionally in Brasilia.
