About Kian
Hi, I’m Kian—a friendly, experienced tutor with a strong academic background and a real passion for helping students achieve their potential. I hold a First-Class degree in Politics and I am currently studying my Master’s at the University of Cambridge, where I specialise in the ethics of law, technology, and human rights. Alongside my studies, I’ve worked at the United Nations, the UK Parliament, and in legal aid, giving me a practical understanding of how law and politics work in the real world. I bring this experience into every lesson, making complex ideas clear, engaging, and relevant. I’ve worked with students from GCSE to university level, helping them to grow in confidence, improve their grades, and gain places at top universities.

My Oxbridge entrance tutoring focuses on developing intellectual confidence, curiosity, and clarity of expression—the key qualities selectors look for. I help students prepare for personal statements, admissions tests, and interviews, ensuring they can think critically, articulate their ideas under pressure, and show depth beyond the syllabus. Each session is tailored to the student, drawing on real interview questions, close reading of challenging texts, or mock test questions to build confidence and refine technique. I focus on making students feel comfortable thinking aloud, challenging assumptions, and defending their arguments—just as they’ll be expected to do in interview.
