About Siavash
I have had an incredible academic journey in the field of Mathematics. I completed my undergraduate studies in Mathematics at Queen Mary, University of London, where I developed a strong foundation in the subject. Building upon this, I pursued a master's degree in Pure Mathematics at the University of Cambridge, further honing my skills and deepening my understanding of the intricacies of Mathematics.
Currently, I am in the final stages of completing my PhD in Mathematics at the University of St. Andrews. Throughout my academic pursuits, I have been fortunate to work alongside renowned mathematicians and engage in cutting-edge research, allowing me to stay at the forefront of mathematical knowledge and developments. This exposure to advanced concepts and the opportunity to contribute to the field has been invaluable in shaping my teaching style and approach.

Dear Students,
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Siavash, and I am an experienced tutor who has had the privilege of working with numerous students throughout the years. As a PhD student in Mathematics, I spent three years tutoring undergraduates in pure Mathematics subjects, which has provided me with valuable insights into effective teaching methodologies.
When it comes to my teaching style, I prioritize the understanding of concepts above all else. I believe that grasping the fundamental principles is the key to success in any subject. Drawing from my own experiences as a student, I can relate to the challenges and frustrations that can arise when facing complex topics. However, I discovered that by truly comprehending the underlying concepts and their applications, I could not only master the subject matter but also develop the ability to derive formulas rather than simply memorizing them. Mathematics transformed from a daunting puzzle into an enjoyable pursuit, all through the acquisition of a few effective learning methods.
