About Harriet
Hi, I'm Harriet!
Having just finished my third year studying Medicine at Cambridge, I have an excellent working foundation in the biological sciences and thrive in an academic setting.
I first began tutoring GCSE Science in 2021, which I found thoroughly rewarding. I discovered a passion and aptitude for teaching, and have since had substantial experience teaching GCSE Science and Mathematics both in groups and individually. I am an enthusiastic, patient and motivated tutor, and I look forward to sharing my knowledge and enjoyment of the sciences!

A-Level: A*A*A*A* Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics
GCSE: Twelve 9s, including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths and Further Maths
BA in Natural Sciences: First Class Honours

My tutoring focus is on understanding of core concepts within the specification, around which the finer details are built. Having covered the content, emphasis is then placed on exam technique and past paper questions to consolidate teaching and maximise exam performance. With extensive personal experience in both studying and teaching sciences and mathematics, I know this approach to be both effective and enjoyable.
Lessons are typically one hour in length, and with a flexible teaching style tailored to the needs of the individual student.
