About James
I am a 3rd year Medical Student at Cambridge University. I have been teaching biology and about the medical school application journey (and entrance exams) for over three years to younger students. I really enjoy getting to know you, and combining and adapting my teaching styles to your unique circumstances. I got 4A*s at A level, and have won a Gold Medal in the British Biology Olympiad (a year 13 competition) in years 11, 12 and 13. I look forward to working with you!

My teaching method is to be adaptive to each student I teach, because each person is unique and responds to a different style. First I try to get to know you, what are your strengths, goals, other time Commitments outside of your studies, then I as we go through a topic or I do the questions you are stuck on, I add bits of personal insight into that topic or category to allow you to apply those techniques to similar questions in the future.

I feel that online lessons will allow both of us to cut down on travel time, and leave more time for learning. I will therefore be willing to go over the 1 hour time slot if you have more questions, without the need to charge any more
