About Henry
Boosting your grades is not about doing more. It is about working the right way! I will help you to work smarter by using skills I honed over the course of my degrees. I love discussing different topics across a broad range of topics. My master’s dissertation discussed British imperial military expeditions and the pursuit of ‘prize’. However, I have written papers on issues across a plethora of geographical regions and periods (from Natural History to post-independence Nigerian memoirs). This has made my methodology transferable. One particular PPE student managed to boost her grades from a low 2:1 to first-class after implementing my method. I have no doubt that you will do the same.

Degree-level essay writing is challenging. Sometimes it feels like no matter how much time you put in you just cannot seem to improve your grades. I had the same experience until I worked out a repeatable method to structure my essay planning and writing. This was the foundation of my academic success at university and I would love to share it with you! Henry achieved a first-class History degree from the University of Warwick (2019-2022) and a distinction in his MPhil in World History at Cambridge (2022-2023). During these degrees he honed a rigorous essay methodology that enabled him to score no lower than 68% (High 2:1) in any essay he took at undergraduate level. From the 11 summative modules nine scored first-class and his average increased year-on-year from 69% in first year to 76% in final year. While at Cambridge Henry had the chance to develop these skills further, learning from some of the most sophisticated minds in academia. His master’s dissertation was described as ‘ingenious’ by an examiner. Henry offers detailed essay writing tuition that will help to hone your research ability, aid the planning process, and (most importantly!) boost your grades. Whilst History is his specialism the learnings are readily transferable to adjacent subjects such as Politics, Classics and others.
