About Angela

Hiya! My name is Angela.

I attended Brampton Manor Academy for my A-levels where I achieved 3A*s in Biology, Chemistry and Math. For my GCSE's, I went to Westcliff Highschool for Girls where I got 10 9s and 3 8s across all my subjects, and I am now studying Medicine at Cambridge University.

I know from experience how much hard work and determination goes into getting good grades, but I have also much experienced the frustration of simply feeling stuck, and struggling with progress.
STEM subjects aren't always straight-forward, but sometimes all you need is a patient voice to point out the errors in your understanding to help you succeed.

I attribute a lot of my academic progress to the amazing teachers who would sacrifice their time to listen and answer my endless-list of questions; I'd love to be the same to you.
So whether your questions feel big or small, overwhelming or seemingly too minor to ask in class, I'd be happy to sit down and help you on your journey to your best grades

About the lesson

Our first step will be a conversation about the areas you find most challenging or the topics that haven’t fully clicked in class. From there, I’ll prepare tailored resources and explanations to break those tricky concepts down clearly. Once you feel more confident, we’ll reinforce your understanding with exam-style practice so you can apply your knowledge effectively.

To make sure progress continues between sessions, I’ll set short, focused homework tasks - nothing overwhelming, just enough to keep you practising and building confidence. We’ll go through these together at the start of the next lesson so you can see how much you’ve improved.

I usually offer 1-hour lessons, but I’m happy to extend to 2 hours depending on your needs. I’m flexible - whether you’d like regular weekly support or extra sessions as exams get closer, I’ll adapt to your goals and schedule. My aim is to make every lesson supportive, structured, and confidence-boosting.
