About Kathryn
"Beginners often think that technical speed is the most important part of guitar playing. Hard work on basic rhythm and chord transitions actually builds a better player than rushing through solos.
Teaching 477 students over 13 years has proven that consistency beats intensity every single time. My background as an AIM graduate ensures that music theory, electric technique, and ear training are integrated into your progress. We look at tuning and maintenance to keep your gear stage ready.
Grading exams is simple when you understand the fretboard, so we focus on barre chords and strumming patterns. Developing a unique sound is the most enjoyable part of this journey."

We use your favorite tracks as the blueprint for every concept, whether we are learning theory or electric technique. My teaching style is chill and gig tested, meaning we focus on what sounds good in a real room.
