About Evelyn
"Because everyone learns differently, I adjust my methods to your specific grip or style mid-thought. It is essentially about finding what connects with you. Whether we are reading sheet music or refining lead guitar work, I draw on my Guildhall degree to explain the mechanics of sound. We navigate acoustic technique and electric technique with care.
I provide free chord charts and tab sheets shared after each class to keep you moving forward. You gain access to my 13 years of experience in every minute of our time. Does this approach sound like the right path for your development?"

"Standing before a quiet stage with my guitar in hand, I often remember the specific hum of the amplifier before the first chord strikes. My teaching career spans 13 years, building upon an MMus in Voice from Guildhall that trained my ear for nuance.
After 8 years performing with the BBC Symphony Orchestra and other UK ensembles, I transitioned into coaching. I now work with 133 students including performance-focused students, intermediate learners, and absolute beginners.
My style remains supportive and honest. I enjoy the moments when a student finally captures the rhythm of a blues progression. It is rewarding to watch a student bridge the gap between reading tabs and true improvisation."
