About Lucas

I am a recently graduated PPE student with a strong academic background throughout all levels of my schooling career. Since graduating, I have spent a year living in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam teaching English as a Second Language at a government run school. My experience as an ESL teacher helped me to develop my already strong communication skills and adapt my methods to students with varying levels of English and different learning styles. Academically speaking, my expertise lies in essay writing and the formulation of strong, coherent arguments. Outside of academics, however, I also have a great interest in the subjects of politics and philosophy. I engage with them deeply on a recreational level and enjoy debating complex and interesting ideas. I am also interested in sports, music and cooking as further hobbies.
