I have always been passionate about reading and teaching others, and I believe that the ability to read is one of the most important skills a person can have. Reading opens up so many doors and allows us to learn about the world, explore new ideas, and connect with others.

To help teach others how to read, it can be helpful to create a structured lesson plan that builds on skills incrementally. Here are some steps that are included in the lesson plan:
• Beginning by introducing the alphabet and the sounds that each letter makes. I can use songs, games, and other interactive activities to make this more engaging for students.
• Once the students are familiar with the alphabet, I can start introducing simple sight words, such as "the," "is," and "a." These words are common and do not follow regular phonetic patterns, so they are important for students to learn to recognize on sight.
• Next, I can move on to teaching students how to sound out and blend words using phonics. This will involve teaching them the different phonemes (sounds) that make up words and how to blend them together to read unfamiliar words. I can use decodable texts or other materials to give students practice with this skill.
• As students become more confident with phonics, I can start introducing more complex texts and working on comprehension skills. This might involve asking students questions about what they have read, having them summarize the main ideas, or asking them to make connections to their own experiences or other texts they have read.
• It's also important to be patient and to provide plenty of positive reinforcement as students learn to read. I will encourage them to take breaks and to celebrate their progress along the way.
