About Michael

Hi! I’m a mechanical engineering student with a strong background in mathematics and a passion for helping others understand challenging concepts. Math has always been one of my favorite subjects, and I enjoy breaking down problems into simple, clear steps that allow you to understand them.

As a student myself, I understand how frustrating math can feel when it isn’t explained well. That’s why I focus on being patient, approachable, and making sure each concept really makes sense before moving forward. My goal is to help students not only improve their grades but also build confidence in their ability to solve problems on their own.

I’m comfortable tutoring students up to the high school level, including algebra and geometry, as well as some specified SAT/college prep material. Whether you need help with homework, preparing for an exam, or strengthening your math skills overall, I’m here to help.

My goal as a tutor is to make math clear, approachable, and even enjoyable. I work with students up to the high school level and focus on breaking down difficult concepts into simple, understandable steps.

Every student learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to match each student’s pace and learning style. Whether you're struggling with homework, preparing for a test, or trying to strengthen your overall understanding of math, I aim to build both your skills and confidence.

During lessons, we’ll go through problems together, talk through the reasoning behind each step, and practice strategies that make solving similar problems easier in the future. I encourage questions and make sure students fully understand a topic before moving on.

My goal is to help you through your math classes and build foundational skills that you can use in the future.
