About Erika
You likely want to understand the physical world through a lens that combines both theory and practical application. My path started with a PhD in Statistics from Stanford, followed by 10 years working in industry settings where physical models were essential. I now apply this background to assist adults, intermediate learners, and advanced students with mechanics, modern physics, and competition prep like the JEE or Olympiad. My 6 years of experience have allowed me to refine how I explain complex lab work and conceptual physics.
I have worked with 90 students to date, guiding them through difficult homework sets and theoretical problems. It remains quite enjoyable to see the moment when a difficult law of motion finally makes perfect sense.
