Having completed my degree at the UC San Francisco School of Medicine, I find myself thinking about how early science education sets the stage for clinical success. I have guided 57 students through the nuances of biology, ranging from high schoolers to adult learners returning to the field. My journey as a minority advocate in the medical world means I prioritize clarity and accessibility for every student I meet. Whether we are discussing ecology or the complexities of the circulatory system, I aim to create a space that feels both rigorous and welcoming.
Many of my students face the same pressure I once felt when I was studying for my boards. I recognize that everyone has a unique way of processing genetics and inheritance, so I adapt my approach to fit your individual learning style. My goal is to ensure you feel prepared and grounded as we work through challenging topics like immunology or plant biology.
