About Hannah
Teaching guitar for 9 years has allowed me to observe how different individuals approach the instrument. My experience spans from supporting nervous beginners to preparing performance level students using the technical knowledge from my Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
I cover strumming patterns, blues progressions, and music theory as standard. Acoustic technique, fingerpicking, and electric technique are also regular parts of my curriculum. My aim is to keep our sessions grounded and calm while we work through these technical elements together.

You will find that the way I structure our guitar time is heavily influenced by my 9 years of teaching experience and my formal training in music theory. I build our sessions around your current ability to ensure we address specific acoustic and electric techniques that feel relevant to your goals. We break down complex blues progressions into manageable pieces while maintaining a focus on correct posture and hand mechanics. Whether we are refining your fingerpicking or perfecting a new strumming pattern, I maintain a steady pace that matches your capacity to absorb new information.
