About Georgie

Holding a Bachelor of Music in Voice from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, I understand the mechanics of music making in a way that helps you grasp the guitar faster. My own journey into music started quite late, which means I perfectly understand the perspective of adult learners and career changers.

Having taught 226 students, I possess the technical patience to explain POWER CHORDS, FINGERPICKING, and GRADE EXAM PREP with ease. Learning to navigate READING SHEET MUSIC or CHORD TRANSITIONS can feel daunting at first.

I break down complex STRUMMING PATTERNS, SCALES AND MODES, and BARRE CHORDS into digestible segments. We examine ELECTRIC TECHNIQUE and MUSIC THEORY to ensure you understand the how and why of every note. It is simply about moving forward one step at a time

About the lesson

Struggling to sync your left and right hand when playing guitar is a common frustration I see you dealing with every single day. Focusing on the flow of your practice, I ensure that the physical movements become second nature through repetitive, thoughtful engagement. My background in formal conservatoire training allows me to provide clear, actionable feedback that demystifies even the most difficult fretboard patterns. I truly enjoy seeing the moment when the music finally clicks into place for a student.

Bringing my experience as a working musician into the room, I keep our sessions grounded in the reality of performing. Whether you are working on your speed or refining your tone, we will get there.
