About Mahmoud
I have two degrees, one in Chemical Engineering, and one in Biology. I have lived in Canada most of my life. I traveled here to play professional soccer. I have a lot of free time, so I have filled it with coaching goalkeepers, and tutoring students.

There are two types of tutors: one that addresses the topics and teaches the topic to allow a student to understand that one particular topic, and the other identifies why a student keeps struggling with the entire subject. I am the latter and equip you or your child with the necessary tools to succeed in the future.
Every topic has different approaches for optimal learning. For instance:
Chemistry and Biology Courses:
Techniques such as active recall are hyper-efficient at allowing you to excel in these courses. Once this technique is applied, you will not need me again, and you will succeed on your own.
Math, Physics, and Engineering Courses:
Most math and engineering courses require prior fundamentals rather than the actual topic, and this is often why a student struggles. I identify and fill these gaps. Once the fundamentals are understood, complex topics like Calculus or Thermodynamics are much simpler than they appear. In calculus, for example, poor algebra skills make it nearly impossible to understand Calculus. Once that gap is filled, Calculus is a much simpler topic to learn.
Simply put, you can bring me on for a few reasons. If you are just starting your semester, you can bring me on, and we can plan together how you will stay on track so that you will not need me later down the line. Or, if you are struggling with a course, we can go through it together, and I can help you learn the topic, while I identify the concepts you are missing, which will allow you to grasp the topic better.
