About Nina

I fell in love with dancing during childhood and discovered some important benefits offered through participating:
- Develop confidence, self awareness of ability, strength and resilience. ( Skills which we need in our everyday lives )
- Posture and body alignment which can facilitate better health, positivity and controlled body language.
- Social skills and etiquette for being within a team or group.
- Rehabilitation support following injuries, sickness or challenging aspects of self.

I come from a background of dance starting during childhood studying classical ballet, modern jazz, tap, contemporary via the British Ballet Organization. I have completed many examinations as a student before extending my dance exploration as a teacher's assistant and teacher. I have expeirence in teaching styles for examinations and showcase performances.
I have had the blessing of learning from and teaching with the all inspiring teacher and company owner, Mrs Cross. This amazing women travelled from England as a young women and first began her dance career working within a children's mental institution. Starting in her class some of the children could not even clap their hands at first and they all waited outside the classroom nervously for the dance class to commence. By the end of her teaching within the institution all of the children had made progress and were excited, eager and happy for Mr's Cross's dance class's to begin.
A sense of family and tolerance only for positive or constructive criticism is a core vale mrs cross has passed on to me. So important when setting expectations of class involvement and conduct.

About the lesson

Interest Based Teaching Style which is Adaptive to the Individual / Group
Age Appropriate Classes:
- Young children aged 3 to 5 years, incorporated with a Play Based Philosophy.
- Children aged 6 - 16 years, Adaptive to age and interests of students.
- Young Adults 17 - 25, Adaptive to age and interests of students + applying challenge to inspire achievement
- Adults Open: All ages welcome from 18 years or over, Adaptive to age and interests of students + applying challenge to inspire achievement.

> Examination style syllabus learning dance styles of classical ballet, jazz, hiphop, comparatory,
> Performance style teaching of dance in either classical ballet, jazz, hiphop, contemporary, heels genres.
> Rehabilitation style of dance used to support and enhance student progress of outcomes, milestones and ability.
> Leisure and fitness dance classes to promote social connection, flexibility, happy wellness and wellbeing, and healthy lifestyle choices.
> Choreography for portfolio and branding.

Details

Travel fee's are calculated individually, starting at a minimum of $100 for first class booking. Upon completion of first class a travel fee contract can be created depending on the class frequency and distance.

Cancellation Fee - 24 Hours notice is required for any cancellation. Refunds are not available although alternate booking arranging arrangements can be offered in deemed appropriate at a later date.

Class Package Deals can be arranged after the first 3 classes with consistent attendance.
