About Me
Hi! My name is Alicia, and I’m passionate about helping students feel more confident in math. I know that math can sometimes feel stressful or confusing, especially when concepts are explained too fast, so I focus on being patient, supportive, and easy to understand.
I enjoy working with students step by step and helping them improve at their own pace. My goal is to create a comfortable environment where students can ask questions freely and build confidence while learning. I believe that with the right support and explanations, anyone can improve their math skills.
I’m especially good at breaking down problems into simpler steps and explaining concepts in a way that feels less overwhelming. I want my students to leave each lesson feeling more capable, motivated, and prepared for class, homework, quizzes, and tests.

My teaching method focuses on breaking problems down into smaller, easier steps so students can fully understand concepts instead of just memorizing answers. I use examples, practice problems, repetition, and real-life explanations to make math less confusing and more approachable. Typical Lesson Plan:
A typical lesson begins with reviewing previous material and answering any questions the student may have. Then, I introduce or explain the current topic using step-by-step examples. After that, we work through practice problems together before the student tries some independently with guidance and feedback. At the end of the lesson, I review key concepts and provide extra tips or practice if needed.
