About Leah

I am an experienced Flute tutor with 10 years of teaching and practical knowledge. My teaching journey has allowed me to guide students from beginners to confident performers. I believe music education should inspire curiosity and creativity while building strong technical skills.

My lessons include breathing exercises, posture improvement, tone production, rhythm training, finger techniques, scales, and performance preparation. I enjoy celebrating each student's progress, whether it is learning a first melody or performing before an audience.

Besides flute, I also teach music theory, ear training, sight reading, and beginner music concepts. I create a supportive classroom where students feel comfortable learning at their own pace and enjoy every step of their musical journey.

About the lesson

I believe every student learns differently, so I design flute lessons according to individual needs. My teaching style combines Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity to create an enjoyable and supportive learning experience.

Students first master the fundamentals including posture, breathing, finger placement, rhythm, and note reading. As they improve, lessons focus on scales, articulation, expression, improvisation, advanced techniques, and stage performance.

Motivation encourages students to practice consistently and enjoy their progress. Communication ensures every concept is explained clearly using demonstrations and practical examples. Integrity helps me build a classroom based on trust, patience, fairness, and encouragement.

Creativity keeps lessons exciting through familiar songs, musical games, rhythm training, duet performances, and listening exercises. Besides flute, I teach recorder, beginner keyboard, music theory, sight reading, ear training, and rhythm practice to strengthen overall musical understanding.
