"I am an experienced and enthusiastic singing tutor with 9 years of teaching experience, having taught 150–200 students of varying ages and skill levels. My teaching philosophy revolves around personalised learning, creating lessons that match each student’s goals, abilities, and vocal range. I specialise in vocal techniques, including breath control, pitch, tone, phrasing, and vocal agility, while also focusing on musical expression, stage presence, and performance confidence. Lessons integrate music theory, rhythm exercises, ear training, improvisation, and creative exploration, giving students a comprehensive understanding of music. I encourage students to experiment with styles, improvise, and cultivate a unique, authentic voice that represents their artistic personality. I guide students through auditions, competitions, live performances, and recordings, ensuring they develop confidence, professionalism, and stage readiness. My lessons are designed to be interactive, structured, and motivating, combining technical exercises with performance practice and personalised feedback. I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where students feel empowered to take risks and grow. I also help students overcome performance anxiety, enhance their musicianship, and refine expressive abilities, allowing them to deliver impactful performances. Imagine standing on stage, the spotlight on you, feeling nervous but excited, and then singing with confidence, hitting every note, and expressing your emotions freely. My teaching methodology, built on Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity (MCIC), is designed to make that experience a reality. I focus on motivation by helping students set clear goals, celebrate progress, and build the confidence needed to perform under pressure. Through communication, I create an interactive and supportive environment where students feel comfortable sharing their goals, receiving feedback, and improving pitch, tone, breath control, and expression. Integrity guides every lesson, ensuring honest assessments, disciplined practice, and a respectful learning atmosphere. Creativity allows students to explore different styles, experiment with melodies, and develop a unique voice that reflects their personality. I also teach music theory, rhythm, ear training, and stage presence to provide a complete musical education. Lessons are personalised to the student’s skill level, goals, and interests, blending structured exercises, improvisation, and performance practice. My approach develops technical mastery, expressive ability, confidence, and stage presence, helping students perform with assurance and enjoy every step of their musical journey.
