About Alina - Loredana
I am a medical doctor, Life Coach and trainer from Romania, with 19 years of experience living in the UK and 16 years of professional experience as a doctor there.
During my career, I progressed through medical training to specialist level, obtaining my CCT in Forensic Psychiatry, while taking on teaching, mentoring, leadership and professional development roles.
I have also been involved in medical interview preparation, simulation teaching, examinations and training healthcare professionals.
Alongside my medical career, I trained as a Life Coach and have worked with people on personal development, confidence and professional goals.
Having built a medical career across two countries and experienced different stages of professional development myself, I understand that career decisions are not always straightforward.
Sometimes the challenge is knowing what direction to take; sometimes it is having the confidence to take the next step.
I enjoy helping people step back, understand their options, recognize their strengths and turn uncertainty into a clearer plan.
My coaching is educational and developmental in nature. It is not medical or psychotherapy treatment.

With 16 years of experience working as a doctor in the UK, specialist training in psychiatry, extensive experience in teaching and mentoring, and a background in Life Coaching, I understand the challenges that can arise when navigating a demanding professional career.
Depending on your goals, we can work on career direction, identifying your strengths, exploring career options, preparing for interviews, improving professional communication, managing career transitions, building confidence or preparing for an important professional decision.
I can also help international doctors and healthcare professionals who are considering working in the UK or another English-speaking environment, particularly with understanding professional expectations, preparing for interviews and communicating confidently in professional situations.
Sessions are supportive but practical. Rather than simply telling you what to do, I help you clarify your own goals, identify what may be holding you back and develop realistic steps that fit your situation.
Whether you are a medical student thinking about your future, a doctor considering your next career move, or a healthcare professional looking for greater professional confidence and direction, our sessions will be tailored to you.
