About Maryna
Hello, my name is Maryna, and I am a patient and dedicated English tutor with a strong interest in helping children grow in confidence through writing and poetry. I am passionate about creating a supportive learning environment where learners feel encouraged to express themselves while developing essential English skills.
I work carefully with each learner, adapting lessons to their individual level and learning pace. My focus is on improving writing, vocabulary and comprehension in a calm and structured way, while also using creative writing and poetry to help learners build confidence and emotional expression.
I am professional, reliable and committed to providing well-prepared lessons that are engaging and age-appropriate. I teach in English and Afrikaans and aim to make each lesson a positive experience where learners feel supported, motivated and proud of their progress.

My tutoring approach is gentle, creative and learner-centred. I help children develop English writing skills while encouraging self-expression through poetry and creative activities. Lessons are adapted to each learner’s pace and focus on building confidence, vocabulary and a love for language.
I teach in English and Afrikaans, making it easier for learners to understand concepts clearly. A typical lesson includes guided writing, creative prompts, simple poetry exercises and positive encouragement. My lessons are ideal for primary school and early high school learners who need support with English or who enjoy creative expression.
