About Vishnupriya
Hi! I'm Priya, a college student and a passionate Carnatic vocalist with years of training and a love for sharing Indian classical music with others. I believe music should be both disciplined and enjoyable, and I strive to create a welcoming environment where students can build confidence while developing strong vocal technique and a deep appreciation for the art form.
Whether you're taking your very first music lesson or looking to strengthen your existing skills, I'm excited to help you grow at your own pace and make your musical journey both rewarding and enjoyable.

Teaching Method: I focus on building a strong foundation in pitch, rhythm, and vocal technique while adapting each lesson to the student's pace and goals. I emphasize both technical accuracy and musical expression.
Typical Lesson Plan: Each lesson begins with vocal warm-ups and a review of previous material (as per the Ganamrutha Bodhini lesson book), followed by learning new exercises or songs. We end by reviewing key concepts and discussing what to practice before the next lesson.
What sets me apart as a tutor: I strive to create a patient and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence in their singing. My lessons balance tradition with an enjoyable, personalized approach.
