Catherine - Hove - IELTS

Having classes with Catherine helped me a lot to get prepared for the IELTS. Her classes are totally focused on the skills you need for a good result. Also, she is very respectful and easy-going, and I really enjoyed each hour with her. I highly recommend her as a teacher for those who will take the exam.

I recently sat my Ielts exam, prior to having lessons with Catherine I found myself struggling with the exam. But after spending some time with her going through what needed to be done, I found myself able to go into the exam confident I can achieve the score I need. I contacted Catherine just a few weeks before my IELTS exam and got the first practise materials straight away, so she could see my level before we met. She was a brilliant teacher and she gave me an organised, well explained idea of what I need for my exam within only few sessions. She has a pleasant way of communicating and she did a great job in analysing my skills and pointing out ways to improve. My immigration agent put me in touch with Catherine to help me with my IELTS test. After sending me some sample work to complete via email, Catherine marked my work and identified where I needed to improve to gain the mark of 8 that I required. The lesson was conducted via Skype which was very convenient and also good value for money. Once I had done the lesson I booked my test and ended up getting a 9! Before i met Catherine, i had completed 2 IELTS tests, and had not achieved the eight that i needed to for my immigration to Australia. i had one 2 hour session with her for 4 weeks. Catherine is an amazing teacher, she put me at ease with all aspects of the test and explains each section in detail and helped me in the areas i was loosing marks to achieve the score i required. She is very professional and is able to tailor make the training session to your needs.
