About Charlene
Hello! I’m a passionate and dedicated cello teacher with years of experience both performing and teaching. I began learning the cello at the age of 12 and joined the Malaysian Philharmonic Youth Orchestra (MPYO) at 16, where I developed a strong foundation in ensemble playing, discipline, and musical expression. I’m currently a cello tutor at British International School Kuala Lumpur!

I emphasize both technical foundation and musicality. My lessons often begin with scales, arpeggios, and bowing exercises to build solid technique.
