About Ailbhe

I am from Galway, Ireland. I am a very enthusiastic and positive person and teacher. I enjoy meeting new people and sharing cultural similarities and differences. I try to make my lessons as practical and enjoyable as possible. I am a very patient person and will always do my best to support and encourage my students.

About the lesson

I believe learning a language should be as enjoyable as possible. I like to create a fun, warm environment where everyone is comfortable to ask questions and make mistakes.
A typical lesson can last from 45 - 60minutes depending on the needs of the student. In each lesson I will focus on the specific needs of each individual student as well as encompassing one of the four main skills; speaking, listening, writing and grammar.
I graduated from university with a BA in English and Geography. I then qualified as a CELT ESL teacher. I worked in South Korea for over 3 and a half years teaching English to children from kindergarten to middle school. I then returned home to Galway, Ireland where I taught in a cultural institute. I worked with adults of all ages and levels (A2-C1). I also taught Cambridge exam preparation courses; PET, FCE, CAE
