As a multi-cultural & multi-ethnic person, I understand how languages can be confusing and how much learning a culture can really contribute to understanding how and why a language is used and structured the way it is.
I can help my students understand the culture behind a language so that they are not shocked as to why some terms are used rather than others in a given situation or context.

I try to make using the language seem fun for my students and help them imagine realistic situations they can relate to in everyday situations as if they were speakers of English as a first language.
