About Jade
I am an Elementary Educator. I graduated from Bowie State University. I have been tutoring for almost 3 years. I have tutored students from ages 6 years old to 19 years old in various subjects. I have perfected my craft as a reading recovery teacher. I have had the opportunity to teach and tutor students in various classroom settings. I have tutored up to 40 students in one setting. I also have had the pleasure of tutoring one on one. Tutoring and teaching is my passion and I do it with the purpose of seeing my students succeed. 100% of my students have left my tutoring sessions and my classroom feeling more confident about the information that they have learned. They have passed test quizzes and have done better on homework and classwork assignments.

My teaching method is definitely non traditional. I use a lot of movement in my classroom to get students brains and bodies moving. I believe that students learn best when they are comfortable in their environment as well as comfortable with their teacher. I am an avid believer of trial and error, and that it is okay to be wrong sometimes, but opening up your mind, ears, and eyes to learning is how you will succeed.
