About Lindsay
Hello! My name is Lindsay and I'm from the UK. It's great to meet you! I have been a passionate teacher of English for over 17 years. I have taught all ages and skill levels, from 5 years old all the way up to adults in corporate companies. Helping students develop their language skills and lower their language anxiety by gaining confidence in English is something I strive for in my lessons. I understand that learning a new language can be challenging, but it can also be exciting and rewarding. My goal is to create a supportive and engaging classroom where students feel comfortable practicing English and growing in their abilities. I believe that language learning is more than just grammar and vocabulary—it’s about communication, culture, and connection. In my lessons, I focus on real-world language use, interactive activities, and plenty of speaking practice. I want my students to feel confident using English in everyday situations, whether it’s for school, work, travel, or making new friends. Outside of teaching, I love watching sports, I enjoy reading a variety of books, from fiction to nonfiction. I also love watching TV shows, especially ones with interesting stories and characters. Both reading and watching TV help me explore different cultures and perspectives, something I also love to bring into my teaching. I am excited to be part of your English learning journey.
